SUMMARY:Lost Millennials Event Series #2: Inclusive Activation
DESCRIPTION:The transnational partnership of the Lost Millennials project invites you to the second panel discussion of the Lost Millennials event series. \nThe second Lost Millennials online event aims to present three approaches to NEET 25+ activation in the context of the social system of three different European countries. \nDuring the event\, there will be three topics of discussion: \nTopic 1: Why NEETs for NEETs? How experience-based knowledge can improve social sustainability \nSpeaker: Jonas Abrahamsson (Sweden \nJonas is the project coordinator of the Erasmus+ funded project NEETs for NEETs\, aiming at improving and upscaling adult education and work counselling activities for NEETs. He has many years of experience in working with marginalised youth through co-creation. \nTopic 2: Useful learnings gathered on Pact Project for the Lost Millenials Project \nSpeakers: Maria Luisa Tamaríz and Margarita González (Spain) \nBio: Maria has worked since 1997 as a technical psychologist in Gerencia de Servicios Sociales (Public Body of Social Services in the Spanish region of Castilla y León)\, holding different positions: in a care team in the child protection section for nine years\, and from then on as a technician in the Technical Directorate of Access to Social Services\, coordinating various programs\, such as volunteer programs\, social emergency benefits\, support service for families at risk of eviction\, etc. Margarita graduated in Economics. She works in European projects and EU funds in Gerencia de Servicios Sociales de Castilla y León. \nTopic 3: Upskilling the hard-to-reach. Shifting concepts and new approaches: \nSpeaker: Matthias Schulze-Boeing (Germany) \nBio: Matthias is a Senior Advisor and Project Manager for the City of Offenbach and a Lecturer at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. Before that\, he worked for 15 years in the role of  Head of the Department for Employment\, Statistics\, Social Planning and Integration Policies at the City of Offenbach. Under his leadership\, a number of initiatives funded by the EaSI programme have been implemented\, which can be categorised as social innovations.  \nModerator: Zuzana Poláčková (Slovakia) \n  \nThe event will be held via Zoom and streamed on Facebook.
